Placement of "ReGrow" elements at BuGa23

In collaboration with the Digital Design and Fabrication (DDF) professorship at the Institute of Building Design and Technology (IEB), the Geodetic Institute carried out the staking for the irregular foundations of a pavilion constructed from prefabricated "ReGrow" elements. ReGrow is a research project of the German National Garden Show Mannheim 2023 that uses the example of willow and clay to explore the possibilities of using local and rapidly renewable resources.

A latest generation total station with overview camera and remote control was used. It is intended that the Geodetic Institute will accompany the progress of the project by laser scanning.
