Research stay of Prof. Hussein Abd-Elmotaal at GIK

For several years there has been an intensive cooperation with Prof. Hussein Abd-Elmotaal from Minia, Egypt and the Physical Geodesy Group of GIK.

Scientific content of the cooperation is the determination of the height reference surface for the continent Africa. During his recent research stay at GIK (11.12.2019-11.02.2020) an updated version of the geoid for Africa could be published.
